48x23x24 Tank Set-Up Problem

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
thats sad that it takes that many bumps to get an answer. i have it happen alot. and im to the point now where i dont even see a point in asking on here.
but one prob might be your over feeding.
2 your rocks might be getting food stuck in there and its rotting. (i had this prob with larger rock)
so i would recomemnd getting sand to fill in the holes between the rocks and also add some purigen to your filters its great stuff. also if you can do smaller water changes more frequently.
hope that helps man

Yea i realized after the fourth post i had put up here that it was it for me, as far as getting the answers i was looking for. Yea i currently had to move this wooden structure i had in the tank that my 8" wolf fish really enjoyed. Happen to be doing a water change one day and there happen to be 4 crushed crayfish pieces all hidden in the wooden piece.

I think you could be overstocked and overfeeding, what size are the fish? Also check pH, Nitrite, and Nitrate levels

Those 4 bumps all occurred less than an hour apart. This a forum, not a chat room. Many people see that many bumps and refuse to answer on principle. General forum etiquette is one bump per day, not every 15 minutes.

lol crawfish grave yards are notorious for messing with water quality ;)
but hopefully it clears up and that was the only issue. maybe more flow will help. you need an fx5 :)
n to davdev, i know thats a little much but when you see how many views your threads get and not one person can say anythin. its annoying.

The seachem prime was put in after a 50% wc b/c my ammonia levels were .25 and ph 6.0 last night i woke up this morning and didn't see any changes occur normally my water would be clear by the morning. but it wasn't surprisingly it went from the cloudiness to like a greenish tint. i really need some help also have a new thread that refers to this problem. i believe it may be the algae taking over my tank i need another way of taking this problem
