4ft plants suitable for tank?

Papyrus is sometimes sold as a pond plant, or even just a house plant. It can live in pots just like any other houseplant.
I usually had so many new plants in my pond, beside putting them in aquariums, I used them as house plants near every window If you get 1, in a year you'll have a dozen..
If a frond bends and touches water, a new plant rootlet will start on that frond, similar to wild ginger (below).

although the video below is about foam fractionation in a pond, at about 1 minute, you can see new plantlets forming on stalks of the papyrus in pots on the far side of the pond.

Found papyrus at $5 a stalk and red mangrove at $80 a stalk

Maybe I will stick to lucky bamboo since it is $3.80 a stalk
