I know what kind of food ,I will bring Pad Thai(fried noodle with shrimp) and Tom Yum Koong (sour soup with shrimp) and sweet dessert.

yes, your wife is welcome too.. this is a family event, everybody is welcome. we had toddlers and babies and entire fishkeeping families last year.

I think the balut and the durian were jokes bro.

lol, i got it.. but i've tried balut, i won't again. but i've never tried durian, and it actually sounds interesting to me. i LIKE trying new food. i would try to cook more strange and new foods if i could find recipes. but i've noticed that most real good foods from different places don't have recipes. the only way to get to try these foods is to get someone to make them for you and then watch you beg for the recipe.

Kudos to Catherine (Morledzep) for starting this thread! (now you can take it easy on the "Big Dogg" and "Bro" ) Otherwise, everyone will "come hungry, leave angry!" You guys are spoiled with Michael (Arowanabe) and Harold (Odd Baller) special treatment last year. I hope my schedule allows me to make it this year, and if I could, rest assure Balut and Durian are nothing to compare with what I have in mind - Tiet Canh!

that looks pretty gross.. but so do balut and i've tried them before. my grandma always said, you'll never know if you like something until you try it. not sure she was talking about asian food though.. lol
