Could a Jardini stay in this tank? I sold my 320 gallon tank long time ago along with my silver aro . I really cannot find information on Jardini's on the internet. So how long could a Jardini stay in the tank?

Too short for a 24 plus inch Jar IMO. The tank should be at least 3x the length of the fish. Is your tank 30" high or 30" wide(front to back).

You sold your silver with the 320 gallon tank?

Yeah, because too busy with school.

So would I be better with 6x2x2 tank? I just have to wait a bit longer for it (money)

big enough to keep a jar. a 4' tank can keep a 20'' aro easily.
if you want to have a beautiful aro, make the tank bigger, but never too high!

never joking! this is our experience in china and taiwan.
120cm tank keeps a 50cm aro, that's what we sometimes did in china.
but as i said, the fish wont be very beautiful in such small tank, they usually will have small sarcoma on their under lips because they often collide with the tank.
if the water level is too high, it will cause drop eyes and high water level will make a new aro too nervous to jump out.

but if the aro is juv, 120cm(4') is big enough until it get 40cm(16'') or bigger.

So you think in the wild all the rivers and lakes are shallow bodies of water? How does something as simple as the depth of the water create drop eye? drop eye itself is a common occurance in arowanas. I myself would NEVER keep a 20" fish in a 48" long space.

no.. drop eyes CAN be prevented. it is very complex and depends on many things, tank is not lake, you cant compare them this way. water level is only an aspect, the light and feeding also. you have to controll everything with care and there are many tricks.
OVERLY high water level is bad to aro especially NEW aro.
drop eyes CAN be cured if not very serious, we did that test before, wrap the tank with black paper or something that light can not penetrate all over.make the tank completely dark, after about half a year or longer, the drop eyes are cured, but if the water, light and other aspects are not improved, drop eyes will relapse in several months after the wraps been removed.
