currently three separate set of red devils have fry.......:headbang2

it takes a while.the parents are quite protective when the are tiny after about 3/4 inch they go hide in the rocks.and every once in a while i will see small orange fish peeking out........if they are not careful the pbass make short work of them..........so the cycle goes:(
 
hi been watchin your web cam i think the tank is great, but i have seen some of your fish flicking hope you know already. Would hate to see you loose any of those fantastic fish.

i guess what you call flicking ...I call flashing......its been going on for about two years........at first I was quite worried but we have only lost about 2 fish in that time.....

I have stopped being concerned.........but if you have any different thoughts please let me know.......

yeah flashing. i am a koi keeper as my wife wont let me build a tank to have large tropical fish inside so i have meter long koi. so if i have any flashing i would catch the fish and take a scrape and look at it under the microscope to see what parasites are present. But as you have not lost much over the last year and a half it could just be somthing iritating the fish. (i apologise for my spelling)
