these are still around. I have personally seen one while fishing at the coast of St. Augustine Florida

We get them all the time in the summer in NE.. So yeah they're still around.

Im pretty sure they arent even endangered. I saw one about 15ft wide sky and crash back into the water with the biggest splash Ive ever seen a fish make. It was no more then 30 yards from the boat too. A sight Ill never forget!
