Sometimes things like this happen and it's definitely a frustrations in this hobby. I understand how you feel about being mad. One time I forgot to turn on my filter after feeding and ended up killing my newly acquired tigrinus the next day.
I was pissed at myself for a few days then I bought another to forgive myself.

the fella might just have been too stressed and he puked may be the very next moment you put him in the tub, once they puke in a tank it is a an ammonia spike tank, may be that could be the reason it did not make it, but dude i think u tried to give it a better place, it was quite unfortunate that it ended this way.

I have never seen these in local fish shops...I understand they fetch around 100-150pounds at this size 12inch to 18inch..so i would be annoyed if she died, but not on the money side only cos i grew her up from a babie

AS said earlier, sorry to hear about the red tail but atleast things are calming down. The silver sharks certainly look big enough that they won't take any crap from the Brycon..!

Yes thanks buddy, the channa is my number 1...shes a real looker, shes blue in real life with a green tinge when she swims,cant get good pics without flash,,hopefully all seems good now brycon chases balas every so often but nothing to bad...
