Isn't that the same behavior that one of those cat designed toys with a feather or a mouse made of yarn provoke. Any movement would make it pounce. The mouse played possum, that's all it could do. Not convince that that's gratification via torture

None. All species are intertwined and they all depend on eachother. That's how ecosystems work.
If you hate one, you hate them all. There is no in-between.
If you can hate a living species, and wish to see them disappear, I question why you're on a fishkeeping site.
Unless, of course, you count feral animals. Feral cats are the most successful predator on the planet, and they're so destructive, they kill EVERYTHING. It'd be nice if feral cats would disappear, for the greater good of the planet... but I wish no harm upon them. You cant blame animals for being animals.

I'll take the feral cats,there are quite a few of them at my work,and you can have their fleas, all the roaches,disgusting flies and destructive termites your house can possibly contain.
Ok....you win! Roaches are one of 2 or three things that makes me cringe when the mere mentioning of the bug whom must never be named! I would burn my house down, that's how bad I hate roaches!

Every animal plays a role on the world, even if it might be a simple animal it plays a part in another animals life. If you got rid of flies some fish, and frogs would perish as well. Same thing with mice /rats they eat alot of junk food that we leave out that would add to a lot of pollution. And cockroaches are vital for reptiles.
