about a month. need to seal and plumb it then cycle it.

What size are your other tanks? These guys I have right now in a 30 but it is plumbed into the main system. I wasn't really in a big hurry to let these guys go.....until my BF decided to bring home a mated pair of Discus tonight :) Surprise honey! These guys would be fine in 30+ as long as it is cycled and you do WC's everyday of 5 gallons or so. They are super hardy.

I have 2 55's up and running. One is at capacity though. The other could probably handle them. I'd have to throw a 2nd filter on though. Just have my dinosaur Ehiem on it. It's got a low population in it.

Considering my mama sting ray gave birth last night now they really have to go! I have 3 pups 2 7 inch Discus and the 5 loaches in a 30 gallon....now mind you it is plumbed into a system with over 600 gallons but still.....

Ok so loaches are back in the big tank because they are pestering the new discus. Please give me an offer I can't refuse these guys have to find a good home very very soon like Yesterday!

The earliest I can get up there is Friday. Is that soon enough?

They would not be fine in a 55! You'd get seriously flamed for posting that on the loach forum.

I'd be happy to take them and put them with my other big clown loaches in my 125.

They are rather big for 55. Even more so for a 30.

With me it would be temporary housing on a way to a 300. Go get them clockwork. I love Clowns and they need a home. Besides I can buy them from you in a month or two.

Yes they are big for a 55 but with clean water good filtration and good quality food they would be fine.....it is temporary he said he will have his 300 up and running within a month. They are better in a 55 than they were in a 30! I am just running out of options here. They have been moved back and forth between the 30 and 500 I wish I had something inbetween those sizes but I don't. I wasn't expecting my BF to bring me home $250 discus! and then for my mama sting ray to give birth that same night! Trust me it is a mad house here. The loaches got moved back to the 500 as they wouldn't leave the discus alone at least in the 500 mama sting ray can get away from them. She has a little sore on her bottom flipper where my male bit her mating and that is what the loaches are pestering they just keep picking at it. I am a very good fish keeper and to imply anything else is just not fair. I would like nothing more than to keep them....they are one of my favorite fish. I just want to get them into a new home.
