I am going on vacation for 6 days, but I can feed the fish before I leave. So for my fish it is 5 days. My concern is of course...feeding. I can do a water change before I go, so that is fine.
36g tropical tank (thrown in vacation feeder block....done)
125g adult African cichlid tank
55g adult cichlid tank

My biggest concerns are in the small tanks (see picture)
birchardi fry factory with 60+ fry from 3/8 to 1 1/4inch.
30+ peacocks 3/4 inch
20+ yellow labs less than 1 month old.

I do have a couple (2) of battery operated auto feeders.

I could combine all the babies into one tank and auto feed it.
Add the 55g and larger babies from grow outs to the 125g and auto feed that.

or will the adults be fine and just worry about the babies?
Should I throw in those vacation blocks in with the babies?
Any insight? Thanks in advance.
BTW:Neighbors or family are not an option to help.

Oh, boy. I know the other fish will do well, but I'm not so sure about the fry. But hear this: I had guppy fry that were 1 week old. I left for 2 weeks, feeling that they would have died. When I came back, they were all alive, no joke. I might have given them a pyramid block, but I doubt they were big enough to eat from it.
If possible, get another auto-feeder for your fry. You could also give them a lot of brine shrimp, and maybe they would eat them over the course of a couple days. I wouldn't put them with bigger fish, though.

The adults should be fine. The fry could be ok if these are well established tanks, but the safe bet would be one maybe 2 auto feedings.Over feeding with no one home would do more damage. The fry under 8 weeks would be the concern. Never used feeder blocks.

just use the auto feeder and grind flakes up with your hand into the smallest granules u can. u might lose some, but in the end, you'll still have a lot of fry left

adults will be fine bro. 5 days of no food is ok. before u go feed the adults a lil more thatn u ussually do then so a water change.

about the frys.. just throw in those food blocks.

have fun on ur vacation! ;)

yea i can imagine the food blocks would be great for the fry as they'll pick off very small pieces of it

just drop a feeder plock in they should be fine cuz every other weekend or so i leave and my parents dont take care of my fish so i just drop a 3day feeder block in and i have never lost any fry or adult fishy that way
