I got a call from my wife an hour before I got home from work....
"youve got about 8 dead fish in your tank"
"What. they were all fine this morning"
"Lots of your stripey ones" (that helps I keep clown loach & dats!)
So when I got home true enough 4 of my IT's all 3-4" and my 4" AT all dead! My big Thin Bar was llooking bad and lying on its side panting for dear life
"Oh Fudge"
Do a quick investigation, airline has popped off and my eheim external had a seriously slow turnover. They had all died with with kills fully extended (suffercated!)
I quickly re-rigged and zip tied the air lines to the pump, I also cleared the blockage but I first I stuck a 350ltr p/hr powerhead with venturi on, lifted and held the Thin Bar in front of the current and oxygen. Within 1hr 30mins he was swimming himself 4 hrs later he's back to normal and had a little food.
Obviously I'm gutted but it could have been worse.
