I think what Mystix means is that those small tanks cost a lot for what you get. The price of a 5 gal tank, add just a few more $$ and get a 20gal thats much more versatile and better value for money. For any newbie just starting out, avoid the 5 gal tank and just get a 20gal. Not much more cost, and you can actually keep some real fish in a 20gal
But if you already have a small tank, then no problem with setting it up with some small fish and sitting it on the end of the bookcase etc.

no i have 3 tanks a 55 gal a saltwater 12 gal and a 3 gal for feeders
my friend wanted some ideas on what to put in his 5 gal tank
he also has a 30 gal
