5 inch dovii male

I had him for about 2 1/2 months and he is really coming along nice, I feed Hikari bio gold as a staple and krill twice a week, he is in a 210g tank solo. Weekly water change of 30% will be upping that as he grows, Fx6, Fx4, aquaclear 110 and aquaclear 70 powerhead. He is always hungry so I try and feed him 2-3 times a day instead of one big meal.

Most cichlids like to express their “hunger” at all times so as this fish gets older I would gradually bring the feedings down to about once a day or every other day.

A couple quick pictures, still growing like a weed, starting to get more territorial of his tank. Lighting was bad, still has the bright blues to him.

I’m guessing about 8”, that’s just an estimate though.
