Hey all,

My name is DJ, and I created my first post yesterday in the introduction forum.

I have a new 90 gallon tank w/ FX5 filter. I plan to keep a solo RD, or if a pair forms, maybe the pair but I don't know if a 90 gallon will work.

My (5) "1.5 inch to 2.5 inch" Red Devils arrived at 1030 this morning. I order online and am very please!

Here are some pics of my tank and the little fishes!

I will keep the pics/updates coming every month or so, and will continue to work on my photography skills.

Tell me what you think.

Nice little RD's.

I bet if you knew you were going to have to type thet screen name every time you wanted to login you would have picked somthing else! ;)

I am curious to see what that gravel color will do for their colors. I'm sure they will look nice. You could do a pair for a while in that tank. If they breed, they will grow a little slower and you would have time. Keep up the good work!

Looking good so far! You'll have fun with the Devils

Looks great, good luck on getting a pair. I bought my first RD about a year ago and he has been solo evey since, I have tryed to introduce new RD's to the tank but they always end up dead. I wish I would have bought small fish in multiples with a chance of getting a pair.:headbang2

RD's are great !

Just be careful that the volcano doesn't erupt again !!

Not sure I could stand that gravel though.

Thanks all!

I am a little discouraged though.

I put them in my tank yesterday and they were all lively, eating good, swimming and chasing each other around.

This morning, when I checked on them they were still doing everything I mentioned above. I got home from work and now all of them are just staying towards the bottom in between the grey slate. i tryed to feed and they all stayed down there.

This is a complete 180 from how they were acting yesterday and this morning.

I have a FX5 for my 90 gallon tank, maybe the current is too strong? Any other suggestions? Please let me know!!
