Yup, thats me..

I`ve been in the marked for an aro, and today bought the perfect one. Great color, nice fins etc.
He was around 2 inches and i put him in with 3inch O, as i wanted him to grow a bit before moving him to my large tank. 5 minutes after i let him go from the bag, i glance over at my tank, and see my oscar chewing on something :(

I feel so sad for the aro, this has ruined my day :(

Just needed to get it off my chest

Aro that size is best raise alone....

i agree on this since they are very fragile in this stage in development. And its best to keep any arowana smaller than 5" alone in a tank like you stated Koji

Possible to grow out an silver aro in a 2 foot( 18g, 60cm x 30 cm x 30 cm ) tank to around thoose 5 inches ?
Then move the aro to the oscar tank to grow out some more ?
The Oscar is alone in a 60ish gallon ( 100 cm x 40 cmx 50cm )

I suggest u get another one.. Keep him alone.. It would be better if u get a little bigger one.. around 5-7".. It will be easier to take care, compared to a 2" baby...
