Lets see some pics.....:naughty:

Nothing much, i cought him spewing fish scales from the gills, and large fat tummy .

I will be getting another one, its just that the fish stores around here are very limited on brains and value for money.
Had 4 x 6-7inch clown loaches that i wanted to sell, the lfs would not take them becouse when they are at that size, they will eat other fish ( thats the words from the person working there ), same place they are selling very overpriced "big mouth arowana`s" (http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126843 , thanks to this thread i learned that this is seen as a defect and called PLJ )

Another lfs, wich is owned by i big saltwater importer who have branched out to fresh water aswell allways has ick and other sicknesses in he`s freshwater tanks. So i stopped buying livestock at that place.

Then there`s 2 mom & pop pet stores wich bearly can keep guppy`s alive. ( I asked one of them about the CL`s too, and he didnt want them becouse all the larger clown loaches that he had gotten in died on him, and there`s allways dead bottomdweller in their tanks when i visit)

The place i bought this aro, would be the same as a petsmart over in the US ( big chain company dealing with all types of pets etc) and tbh prolly the best fish store around here if you know what you are buying. They like to sell channa micro (red snakehead) to kids with a 20 gallon tank.

WTB NEW LFS !

i hate oscars... ill guess ill get some as food for my green X<

better luck next time... now ya know! so you learn from your mistakes... i'm on my fifth arowana :( first one i bought was impulse still had yoke sac (baby), second one jumped the tank though an opening on the top(4 inches), third one bad water change forgot to stop the syphon and refilled water way too fast so died of shock (1.5ft), fourth one got big and jumped the tank broke the glass lids off the tank so broken glass on the floor with arowana dried:( (2ft)

experience... i'm full of it.... now hopefully this one is good... i learned from my mistakes and i share with you now.
1. pay the extra 10 bucks for a bigger arowana with not sac
2.cover all openings on tank no matter how small the hole is
3. partial water changes are good
4. well covered with 1 gallon milk jugs of water on glass lids...
5. i'll tell you later down the line once i find out how this guy decides to leave me so far he's 5 inches

sorry to hear, but i agree with koji an aro that size would be kept alone, even if the oscar didnt eat him it prob would have stressed him to death. aros that size are very fragile
