Keeping 2 males to one female is waiting for disaster because the weaker male will be targeted. Your tank looks big enough to keep 3 to 4 males to one female or better, an all male tank to eliminate pairing aggression.

What strain are your syns? They get good color quality not easy to come by.

Male number 2 is a keeper for sure.
But they are all coming along great.

Yes, I will definitely keep male #2.

My sinspilium looks like yours in the first pic. I put it in a new thank that has black sand he was in with white sand. All his red changed to dark blue almost instantly. Do you think it will stay this way? It has been about 2 weeks now.

Congrats on yours they are beautiful.

Thanks!

And yes, usually when you put a fish against a black sand (or background) it enhances it's colors.

It may look big but is really not, only 320 litres (84.5 gallons), 120 cm in length.

Currently I'm thinking at 2 options:
- 2 males
or
- 1 pair

I really don't know the strain, but trying to find out.

I kept mine 1 male to 2 females until a paired formed then I removed the lone female
