Looks good. I'll be starting my flat back hex this spring. For your mitered angles, did you do a single 45 or two 22.5?

I angled both cuts. Don't remember the angles. It's not a true 45° though. I think it's a wider angle than that. Pretty sure I did two 33° angles or something like that.

I thought he looked to be pretty decent size, nice clean bars on him. I have one that looks just like yours but mine is only half that size. Such a slow growing fish, but they sure are beautiful.

Yeah, I got mine when he was about 2.5 inches roughly 2 years ago
