No piranhas, but up for any other suggestions. Can't really make up my mind on what I should put in it. I have some ideas, but maybe there's something I didn't really think of yet. Let me know. Thanks guys.

75gal ???

It's a bit more than that i'm afraid try 150gal

My suggestions would be Go with a theme something like SA & CA cichlids or just a SA theme and get fish like Silver Dollars, Flagtails, Oscars and Lima Shovelnose Catfish you know what i mean right or maybe an Oddball tank such as some Bichirs, Clown Knifes a small sting ray or Gar's.

Take a look what other people have in our Gallery and see if you can make up your mind on what you want.

yea like stated above do a SA/CA theme, or even better go with an African theme with cichlids and some types of syndontis, you could go 500 neons and 1 cardinal

No you want some proper fish in there LOL . How about rays, you would be fine with the smaler species. Maybe some big catfish? they aren't all aggressive and some will get on well.

The tank may be a little bit taller too. I don't remember. I just bought it used yesterday. I think he said it was something like 170 gallons or so. Ok, I was thinking along the lines of either an oddball tank with some bichirs, a smaller ray, a tigrinus, and maybe an aro (not silver). Or I was thinging about larger CA cichlids, like a dovii or something. What do you think? Or I could do Salt and just get 1 broomtail wrasse. What do you guys think?

Here is a suggestion for a tank 150-170g of that width, I think it would be active enough and different enough to be interesting.
1 royal clown loach (Leptobotia elongata)
1-2 sun cat (Horobagrus brachysoma)
1 widebar dat (Datnioides pulcher)
3 rock flagtails (Kuhlia rupestris)
3 jade perch (Scortum barcoo)
They should get along nicely

I think the tank is a bit small for an adult aro

I'd go with a SA theme with maybe a ray, some geo's, maybe a tig or juruense... lots of possibilities.
