wat type of catfish is that HUGE black one??? ive seen it b4 in an exhibit in malaysia but im not sure wat its called...thx :s

Thats one of my Wallego leeri.

Here are some pics taken a few months ago.

Sorry the tank glass was so dirty but I had just fed the tank a lot mackeral to lure the Wallegos up from the 9 foot deep level they normally hunt in to take these pictures. Notice the Pangasius sanitswongi in the background of the 3rd pic. He is a measured 22" long and had to be caught out of the tank this summer and placed in my outdoor ponds due to aggression.

Very nice! do the little fish get eaten as well? they just breed by themselves? That Is one HUGE cat! those pacu's look great as well!

Yes the cichlids and barbs reproduce in the aqaurium.

There are a lot of big cats in that aquarium. Over 10 of them are over 36 inches long.

Wallego leeri huh...it has to be the most amazing freshwater fish ive ever seen. i just love the way its tail thins out just like a CK but its front portion is as thick as ever. truly a beautiful specimen. im surprised it can catch all the smaller fish in the tank. he looks fat and slow :p

He ate a school of 12" oscars overnight about the first month the tank was set up.

He ambushes them floating arounf like the goodyear blimp. But when he opens his mouth they just go right in. Also when he wants to attack he can cover 15 feet very fast.

The funny scene is watching my 4" Abramite nip his tail and then dash out of the way when he turns around to snap him up.

HAHA, like little brother annoying big brother.

I was wondering if the whole tank was the same depth? or do you have a shallow and a deep?

It's the same depth 36 feet long x 27 feet wide x 9 feet deep (L shaped).
