50 1" Red Belly P's

Just got 50 1" RBP's today. Wish I could keep all of them though. They are going to be spit up between me and a couple of friends. They look like they are between 1" and 1.5". What should I feed them for the two days that they are going to be in my tanks. Hope I don't get too attached to them because I don't need to add more tanks to my basement (It's getting rediculous!!!!!!!!!!)

Should be able to get fresh fish from the local fish market. Just stay away from oily fish like mackeral.

I'll try some jumbo shrimp tonight- (man my fish eat better than alot of homeless people). I'll try to pic up some smelt tomorrow after work. Anything else I should try to feed 1" rbp's???????

Hopefully I was just going to keep 10 and grow them out and then get rid of a couple.......Hopefully........................Hopefullly I won't go get any more tanks

What size tank do you plan on keeping 10 in?? You would have to have a big tank so that they dont nip a lot.

Smelt are too oily, too. Stick to tilapia, trout, and catfish or you're going to have a maintenance nightmare on your hands.

For Reds that small, they will take bloodworm easily, earthworms or small pieces of fillet. Another 1" or so and it will be their own kind!

We tried catfish with our sannchezi and 13" Rhom and it was really oily IMO. I will never get it again.
