50 Days of 50mm

A few friends of mine have done this little "assignment"

For 50 days you can only use a 50mm lens on your camera. It makes you look at things differently and allows you to tap into your creativity by making you use creative subject matter and apertures.

So I decided to share my little assignment with everyone.

haha yeah I am.
I asked a mod if they could make it so I could always change my first post so then I can always add the new photo to there. But I am still waiting to hear back.
I think if I were to just make a new post every time then it would get lost.
 
yeah just ask Li to edit your first post, thats what i usually do. cant wait for the others :)
 
definetly would give me an excuse to buy me that new Zeiss i've been looking at, but yeah there is no way i could manage to do all my photography for 50 days at any one focal length, might be doable for here and there amatuers, but my lenses are chosen for speicific reasons, can't shoot effective wildlife @ 50mm, landscapes might be doable if i shot full frame...which i don't, mabey i'll shoot a few around 50mm on my standard zoom.

This assignment isn't necessarily for amateurs by any means.
Obviously we all have our favourite lenses for specific things. (And yes you clearly cannot shoot wildlife very well with this lens) There are no set rules for this. You don't HAVE to only shoot with this lens for 50 days, but the pictures you put into it have to be...earlier today I did family portraits and I used my telephoto and my wide angle. The point of the assignment is to make yourself do creative things with the 50mm lens.
