Wow...that is alot of water and fish......your power bill must be through the roof.....

LOVE THE GORGEOUS PACUS!

That is an awesome collection! The vid was great , the water noise in the background was that caused by the filters...long thread, might have missed it but your filters besides the creative DIY, how many GPH are you moving? How did this imapct your electric bill, large spike once it was set up or just a small increase in monthly charges.........?

Power Bill is high right now anyways due to the heat.. I dont think its that much higher than a normal (hot month) power bill...

Yes I love the Pacu.. When I got them they were both 12 inches in a 55 gallon tank so I was more than happy to take them :D

Yes all that water you hear that sounds like a tidal wave is getting ready to swallow me and the camera is filters LOL

Right now Im moving ~5000 gph in the 1100 gallon and Im currently moving 3600gph in the 2500 gallon pond, but this filter is only temporary for now. I will be adding a big filter with much more gph soon. Like I said before I dont notice much on the powerbill really...

yeah it's the panaque species like the royals and clown plecos.
they eat wood so you need to keep some driftwood in your tank or they will perish. larger specimens will sctrach acrylic but not take chunks out of it.
your pleco is not 1 of them so no need to worry. if you really want to be sure catch the pleco and look at it's mouth, a panaque that size will have very visible teeth.

Checked the guy one more time and there are no visible teeth so I think hes good to go :D

Simply awesome. Nice vids.
