Amazing, like when I first startign reading the thread I was in awe that you can make a tank out of plywood, like I thought the weight of the water on it would bust it open...nice work....I'm envious.
 
Hey quick question for the builder, did your glass bow at all once filled? What about the support running parallel just above the glass? Also what is the height of that support? Your window is about the size I am looking to put in my build. Thanks, doing lots of research :nilly:

Also, this is just me but I would use Plexiglass for the top covers, I bet that arowana once hes full size could probably break that glass and its more forgiving should something happen while removing the hood for feeding or whatever.
 
OOOO I got a question too! I saw your heater guards there so the sting rays can't give the heaters hugs since they love to give the heaters hugs....any way I was wondering if you have noticed if the guard effects the performance of the heaters at all? The heater guard I had before was made of plastic canvas but was pretty ugo. I was thinking black pvc would look better but don't want the loss in heater performance if any.

i know its an old thread. but antyhing new? Also from what i understand, you didnt fiberglass it. just painted the polyester on
