500 guppy feeders

Depends on where you are, in NZ you can't get shop guppies for less then $5 each, most go for closer to $10.

Although it is easier to get to know some one who breeds guppies, then you can get an endless supplier of feeder quality guppies.

Idk if your talking about prices in asia but 10cents per guppy isnt a bad deal in the us... they are usually 12-20 each

I generally pay between .20-.25 per feeder guppy at my local lfs, but they are the only one within 100 miles that sells guppies so they can get away with it. feeder guppies are the cull of fancy guppies, the ones that didn't come out good looking, so in yuki's case, there may be a large ornamental guppy trade where he is, thus creating a lot more culls and a lot of excess supply.

I actually think you could house your feeders in a well filtered/oxygenated 55g, as long as you are willing to do water changes every two days.

Have you tried red wiggler worms? Safe, easy to culture live food...

Josh where in pa do you live?.... in northeast pa where i am ( middle of nowhere) lol its hard to find shops

I prefer not to feed worms

The 50 gallon i have would have a drip system so the water would be pretty clean... i could prob drip 2 gallons an hour
