 :jaw-dropp :WHOA: For that size tank I would suggest you try and find some Champochromis caeruleus(Malawi Trout). I believe the ultimate predator of the lake!
Tank sounds like something I dream of having one day. :WHOA: :jaw-dropp Maybe slightly bigger at around 200 000 litres. I want to be able to swim in amoungst the fish.
I would suggest you look at running some black piping along the entire northern side of your roof. This should help to reduce you electricity bill.
What is the minimum temp you experience during your winter months?
Would love to see some pics once you have this monster established.
:naughty: :woot: :clap :headbang2

my temp doesnt get below 60 usually in winter. ill just add like 6 venustus another eyebiter, and like 8 ahli for the predator side. to have champochromis, ill need an entire pond dedicated to haps and i dont got that kind of space. i know dimidochromis arent too aggressive so theyre safe and venustus are uhh semi aggressive so those are good. peacocks dont belong in either mbuna or haps since theyre weak so i may just make a divider for them. e not champochromis dude, i have alot of mbuna and i just want some mild predators. not something that will make the fishes in there extinct my te

every rift lake cichlid i own is goin into this pond, my tropheus will have like 500 gallons for them, the fronts will just stuck with the rest of the mbuna and haps in 3000 gallons the other 1500 gallons will probably be used for victorians and peacocks

IF i find some kind of champochromis cichlid, ill stick it it like 1000 gallons of divided space. they get like 2 feet right?
