500g Gar Feeding -- Dec Update

The gars are looking great madding. Does the aussie lung usually need to be target fed?

No, never. I feed them every other day and the lungfish always gets one or two pieces. I was tossing one handed and the lungfish was being particularly stupid on video (I actually cut out a section where it was flopping around sideways trying to get a piece and eventually gave up.)

Nice michael!! I cant wait till i get a tank that big so my army can be bigger than 6 gar. Hopefully ryan will be able to find some LNG next year. I got some leads for some as well Im gonna try checking out so fingers crossed

Im still checking. Suppossedly there is a few in sw near where I work. Ill believe it when I see it. Saw what appeared to be one about 6" but could not get a good enough look to confirm. Come spring ill check some of the marsh areas and brackish areas if I can. But the good ol water boys in the area swear they are there.
