Lol the oscars are green under the light ryan used, the oscars are brown in person.

I used nothing but a flash, they arent exactly as green as in the pictures when you look at them, but they are un-edited aside from water spot removal, and no coloured light was used.

Yeah okay buddy.I am looking at the oscar right now, looks green to me :screwy:He does have a light green to him. Oscars do change there color with mood as well.. So He is a really nice light green to him when he is relaxed. And he did not use any lights on my tank. Just the shop lights I had. Its a flash from the camera, not the lighting.

Its all about the genetics of the fish and water quality. Some people say its form them looking down, and I don't believe that. My silver is always getting massivour pellets and prawns off the sand, and he has barley any drop eye for his size.I was told it was a wild silver. I got him at 18'' and he had no drop eye. It just started a little in his left eye.

You'll find as many theories on reasons for drop eye as there are adult silvers with drop eyes :)

I still have yet to find a good sized silver with perfect eyes.
