Wish you woulda said that a few monthes ago a LFS in Mil had a nice 24"+ here that I just couldn't justify putting into my smaller tank. If he pops back up I'll let you know. They might ship since it was a pretty large store.


And I'm not sure what I'm more in awe of.. the fish themselves or the tank... Love the set-up.. love the stock.. love the foot-print. and love the aussie.

I love all the gar, and a Longnose would top off that tank. Do you still have the one gar, I believe it is/was a Xanthic?

I'm still looking for one for you, but I have had no luck with finding longnose gars this year.

Maybe you should try getting Cabela's or Bass Pro to sell one of their big longnose gars; it seems like all of their stores have at least one big one.

A longnose would be a great addition to that tank. Have you seen if John could get you one. I remember a thread where he posted a 20"ish longnose that he had sold.
