hey guys new the the site, me and my wife love it..we currently have
frontosa female"8".. jack dempsey 4" acei 6"and a zebra syno hybrid catfish 3"....2 bottom feeders not sure the name.... wtb a electric blue dempsey.. live in queens ny..we looking for some advice and ideas for exotic fish and the tank as well. we started in October and hooked on cichlids!
would like feedback and offers thanks!

also used crushed coral for the floor.Texas holy rock,black plastic coral and some plastic plants for decoration and for hiding spots..
 
Welcome to Monster fish keepers... Unfortunately is seems like your tank is over crowded...They say Frontosa's alone need 50 gallons....maybe one day you can move those bad boss into a larger tank :) anyways good luck and welcome to this forum it is very helpful and full of lots of nice people :)
 
the fish store told me it wouldn't be a problem and i have the feeling they just wanted to make the sell.. i will post a pick she is beautiful and if that keeps me from getting more fish he will be for sale so if anyone is interested let me know
 
The front and all the other fish have differant water requirements , fronts like a higher ph than the dempseys do . not that they will die but not thrive . if willing to part with the front a ebjd would be fine. on a side note just know fishkeeping is like crack its hard to kick and the habit gets larger good luck and happy fishkeeping im sorry i didnt see the acei it also likes hard water the syno might too
