Nice tank!!! That is really a 600g. For some reason Tenecor calls it a 535, maybe thats there part # for it.
I have the same tank. But I have 2 overflows instead of 1 big one.

I have just added two pieces of driftwood and a rescued 12-13" common pleco.

I've been thinking about replacing the gravel with tan or white sand. Opinions?

Leave the gravel in there. I put black sand in mine, and my catfish used it to scratch the panels.
