How about a Jack Dempsey? Super mean, but they are very pretty.


Else - my vote would be for medium cichlids or small puffers.

I found a breeder on Aquabid who is only 30 mins. from me. I have emailed him a few times and he has been really helpful and seems to his stuff. I p;an on visiting him in the next few weeks when my tank is ready. I know what you mean about the LFS though.

if you only want a couple fish or big fish think about salwater and try a big puffer they are like real pets not just fish

I like saltwater tanks, in other peoples houses, their just not my thing. I have always liked the look of a heavily planted freshwater tank better.
