Hello everyone this is my first post but I have done lots of reading on this site, Don't have huge monster tank but it is 195 gallon with 55 gallon sump, I have just recently finished my wet/dry filter design and so I thought I would share it with you all.

Some Arcylic took me about 10 pieces to complete, Ball Valves for Silent Overflow, Some handles and Hinges, Silicone took me about 6 of them

Some pot scrubbies for bio media, that is only 25 out of the 100 packages I bought, more handles and hinges.

I will be makeing a 4th vid sometime in future of it all hooked up, but I do have system running right now its silent sump, and ball valves are great for a silent overflow, I am very happy with my design so I figued I would share it with you all and couple of other sites slowy but surely.

ty, yea glad it all worked out that was my 3rd design 2 others I made were 50 gallon and 29 gallon ,with 2 3 drawer containers setup but had no access to anything thats why I went with this idea
 
That is pretty bad. how long was the build? wish ya would have posting the build in stages. all in all very nice.

Thank you, from when I frist came up with idea to getting it under the tank 1 month, but I did alot of slacking, very tiddius cutting arcylic grinding to get it even and smooth edge, also siliconeing panels on differnt days, drilling well over 300 holes thats not includeing pieces I messed up do to tomany holes, lots of late nite thinking before bed on how its actually going to work, but all in all well worth the time. i will try to find more pics and maybe oneday soon I can come up with some sort of walkthrew.
 
Very nice build. Well thought out & assembly looks very clean. The hinged lids seem to cut down on the noise considerably. I'm looking forward to seeing this in operation on your tank.
 
im lost as to what the pannel all the way to the left does.. the one next to the pump with the hinge on top... is it just a support wall for the hinge?
