I have an empty 55 and kinda sorta wanna have some SA cichlids. What species stay small enough to stay in there for a forever home? Thanks :)

Some that u can pull off with multiple fish: Green Terror, Jack Dempsey, Severum, African cichlids, and Blood Parrot.
Some that u can pull off by themselves: Oscar, Jaguar, Red devil, Flowerhorn
Now you form your own opinion cuz people are going to say that you cant fit some of those in that tank and that is sometimes true but you can always sell it if it gets to big and you can keep it if it doesnt.

Rams, apistos, curviceps, festivums, angels, etc would all be good choices. Other good choices (non-SA) would be cutteri, rainbow cichlids, and kribs.

These are choices that would actually fit in a 55 gallon.

If you can read correctly, you (as well as lots of others on MFK, so dont feel like The Lone Ranger) really ought to learn A LOT more before you start giving out advice.

The OP asked for something that will "stay small enough to stay in there for a forever home..."

and you incorrectly suggested Oscar, Jaguar, Red devil & Flowerhorn.

If you dont know the correct answer, please save yourself and other members the PITA of reading through the BS and dont respond to threads acting like you do. It only causes more confusion and derailment from the original question.

This is like the 5th or 6th thread youve given BS answers to since you joined here a few days ago. Did you just join to disrupt & hamper everyones ability to help people with correct answers?

Some other options could be; Blue Acaras, Nicaraguan Cichlid, Juba Cichlid, Cupido Cichlid, firemouths, Convicts.
