I am using an AC110 and an AC70 on 55g right now. I am heavily stocked and the water is crystal clear.
55 gallon Filtration. Recommendations?

another HOB would be sufficient IMO, but you could add an xp2 or xp3. print out the online price from petsmart, take it in to a store and you can get an XP3 for 105 plus tax
Thanks for the responses guys. My water has always been crystal clear. Just wanted a lil more bio filtration and mechanical. I think im going with another emperor 400.
on my 55 i have a magnum 250, a DIY powerhead driven corner filter (around 200 gph) a nice dirt magnent Sr. sponge filter and my water is perfect imo. of course i'm going to be adding filtration via another DIY filter using another 200 gph powerhead just for some more mechanical filtration so i get even clearer water

Twin E400's is overkill on a 55. Run a single along with an air driven Hydro5 if you think you need more help. Adding a pair of supercartrages to the E400 will increase it's capacity a great deal without having to add any other filtration.

heres a picture of them. You can pick them up on Ebay. they replace the media baskets and the cartrages with extra bio space and a pair of washable pads so your not buying cartrages all the time.
The top two pictures are of supercartrages made for a wisper filter but you can get an idea...the ones for the E280/400's are the SC6...
