Hello all. I have a tank 55 gallon tank that contains bloodfin tetras, german blue rams, glass catfish, and a gold nugget pleco. I want to add some inverts. I was thinking either shrimp or snails. What would you reccomend?

red cherry shrimp

If you put cherry reds in you deffinentally run the risck of them getting eatten. It might work tho. Snails rock tho go snails

Snails should be kept in water with a pH more than 7.6. Calcium dosing may be required if your KH is low although if it were the Sulawesi snails (Tylomelania sp.), they'll work well in a water with high pH and low KH.

For shrimps, cherry shrimps will work well there but you need to watch out for the blue rams and bloodfins. They are likely to attack shrimps unless your tank is heavily planted otherwise stick with bamboo shrimps.
