I thought I would post some pics of my non/semi aggressive cichlid tank. It's a 55 gallon that has a few plants that are potted.

My stock is as follows:

1 EBJD - 1.5"
4 Angels .5" in diameter
2 Balloon rams .75"

I don't really know too much about the balloon rams they were a present from my wife. When she got them at the lfs they were selling them as Angel rams.

Anyways here are the pics.

Oh yeah I was also wondering what everyone thought of the stock. I was thinking about maybe adding a few more fish. Maybe adding a couple of bolivian rams, apistogrammas, or some other genus of dwarf cichlids.

Should I add more or should I just leave the stock the way it is currently.

i think a little apisto trio would be cool to watch, but i would definitely add in more plants along the bottom then if you go with that idea

Nice looking 55! These guys all look pretty young and will fill out that 55 when they get bigger. I dont think anymore cichlids are good idea, Especially if breeding presents itself. Id probably put in a school of neon tetra to make everything a little more active and curb some aggression. Maybee a little cory cat or bristlenose too. Did you spray paint the design on the back there?

I agree that a trio of apistos would be pretty cool. Definitely an option worth considering. I am planning on adding more plants, I was thinking about getting some shorter pots to put some anubis in.

I was thinking about putting some small tetras in but I am not sure if that is what I want to do yet.

Yes I did spray paint the design, and thanks for your compliments!

A pair of kribs will work and look nice
