clay pots are the cheapest thing you can put in and cichlids love em'. They dont look to bad either.

Not terribly important for what you plan to stock, and you don't have any air lines and whatnot to hide but, plants: look good and provide sight breaks and hiding areas. Fake ones don't get eated or die for other reasons.

Yeah ill get some plants to put around, i think cichlids eat up real plants anyway.

I did this with my 75 gallon cichlids tank...setup some slate. The rocks are acrylic from petsmart. Looks decent and the fish loved it....check out the vid..
