Lost my female 3" Red devil. So now I have an open 55. I need stock ideas. I'm on the side of a semi aggressive community tank. On the bottom I'm thinking Pictus catfish or cory's. I'm just lost on the main fish I should get. Any help or ideas?

Short body flowerhorn, red wolf fish, rainbow snakehead (if legal), Jaguar catfish, might be able to do a solo gulper but may need an upgrade eventually.
Firemouth group - eventually a pair
Blue acara group - eventually a pair
Polar parrot group ( sb convicts)
Pair of convicts.
Proven female gt could work for a good time
Rainbow cichlids pair
Sajica cichlids pair
With cory catfish I'd go firemouth or blue acara or rainbows
Could also do a group of angels of you want to .

All good options (not mixed together).
I would do a dwarf cichlid colony. My krib pair has filled my tank with kribs, and their interactions are very fun to watch.
Gourami for up top, cats for bottom, and a rainbow cichlid or eba as the centerpiece.
