To go with severums or by themselves? I've never really been a fan of Texas cichlids but green terrors are ok.
Out of curiosity, any non-cichlid ideas?

Planted biotope is one option. Classic community of tetras and the liking, vivarium, a single larger goldfish, natives, betta and shrimp or rainbow community.

Yeah, I suggest a pair of red severums, I can see if you want some variety though.
