i have never had Kuhli loaches so i couldnt say anything about that but when i used to have 3 sens in my 120g tank they swam around all the time and came right up to the top to feed along with everyone else, they were much more active than i thought they would be and definitely much more active than my current delhezi. and what the others are saying is true, i totally get wanting the tank to not look empty when the texas is little (i myself have done stocks where i had tons of juvies and then thinned out the list as they grew, but then my tank was larger...) but in about 6 months time when that tex is pushing 8-9in your tank definitely wont be looking empty anymore. also if you want it to work with the sens then you need to get the smallest tex and the largest sens they have, that way the sens have a chance to grow large enough to not be dinner when the tex grows since tex with grow faster than the sens do
