WOW! thats overstocked to the max. If they want to give up their cons I'll take their largest one and possibly a smaller one.

I'll see what I can do when they get back. They said the wanted to get rid of a bunch...Thing is, they'll just reproduce again

Ask them if they can ship them. I'll pay for all of it. I can't drive up to Upstate NY too tight of a schedule. PM me when they get back I am interested in a rescue.

I think the filter on the left is a Regent(walmart) filter.

I'm positive it is because that stand is absolutely a walmart purchase.

Good eyes snake!!

I reckon that if you removed the Tinfoil and bala the tank would look much better. Maybe you could home them........

Considered that but I have a big female JD (6"+) and female GT(5-6") in my 90 that wouldn't tolerate them. They'd get creamed within about an hour I bet. these cons are all under 4". I also have 2 plecos and a FM in there. But my Plecs arent even close to that size, biggest is probably 10" or so. Was even considering removing one.

Plus I really don't care for convicts but know a bunch of you guys do so...

I've never even attempted to ship fish but guess I could give it a try

Come off it everyone the tank looks fine, i bet there's even enough room left for a couple of oscars LOL. We shouldn't be so quick to critisize them, i bet the local LFS where they bought the fish from told them they would be fine in a 55g.

I have found that citisizing is the only really effective for people to understand what they have done wrong. I mean people don't have to be nasty and mean to someone who doesn't know. They just need to get a firm point across. You are right about a LFS saying "Oh yeah they'll be fine" but in reality no they won't. Most people get their information about fish from others advice hence this website lol. They will do what advisor said. Thats why it's important to do your own research first then see if the advice they give you conflicts with facts.:) Oh and Headrush did they come back and if so I am interested in the little guy near the filter inlet in the 2 pic and the bigger fella in the 4 pic next to the rock left bottom corner.
