I'm confused. In your other thread you said your parents wouldn't let you upgrade until you moved out of the house and you said your not getting rid of the fish you currently have. Did you convince them to give you another tank as a graduation present? Or is this when you move out and are able to get a tank on your own?

i have talk to my parent and they said that the 55 is a permit tank intill i move out. Do u think Option 2 will get along? oh and if i do the options i will get rid of my cichlid and 2 of my eels.

They should get along ok. It really depends on the individual fish, I've seen gt that are majorly aggressive and i seen some afraid of an 1" con. Option #2 is a better option since your eel might make a snack out of most of the fish in option #1.

my other ones r 5". And my eel won't eat the fish in option #1 because i have had fish 3" and he been fine.
