55 gallon?

Suggestions for a 55 gallon? So far Im getting one convict cichlid and one hoplo cat. What else should I add? Maybe a red tailed "shark"?
 
a redtail shark could work, as for other tankmates, what else do you like? more cichlids?
 
I would like more cichlids. Are there any that would work in a 55 with a convict? The hoplo cat is not a neccesity to me.
 
How about a salvini or a jack dempsy or something like that? You could always do another convict of a different color (pink or standard) and try to get them to become a breeding pair? Convicts are about the easiest cichlid to breed.
 
i would do a dwarf pike i have one man i love him her drrows under the cave i thinke if you want a cool fish i would get one of them
 
Would a JD work with a convict in my size tank? And also I don't want a pair of convicts. I don't need the extra fry.
 
a dempsey should work out ok with a con, as would something like even a firemouth or maybe even a non-CA cichlid, like buffalohead IMO,
