Clowns are so overrated when it comes to tanks smaller than 75g. Why not give the clowns a rest and look on yoyos, kubs, histrionicas, zebras and rostratas?

I would agree I had my clowns in a 55g and they didn't do well until I upgraded them to a 180g now they are different fish, far more playful and not as shy or skitish. And they don't grown that slowly. Just a personal opinion but I like to raise my fish to their full potential and not have to get rid of them when they out grow a tank.
I'm a big fan of keeping fish just for the experience and then trading them with a friend of mine that has 200+ tanks and the space to keep what I can't. For example I have 3 Heros rotkeil in my 55 right now. they are getting close to the time that they need to be gone and then I will just get some more juvie fish and then the process repeats. Works for me.
