55 Stocking

Ok so my JD just beat the hell out of my bichir, the bichir is now going to be blind in one eye most likely:irked: So the 55 has a JD but i think i might end up just getting rid of him. What could i put in there with him/without him? I was thinking maybe a GT to go in with him or a female JD but i dont really want babies all that much. Personally i was thinking something mean like a Pike cichlid to go in the 55 but i want something with alot of personality and can put on a bit of a show if i throw in a cricket when a guest is over. I no Oscar have tons of personality but they are also quite sulky when they dont get there own way, id like something with constent movement pretrolling his territory.

hey spence i think a MALE GT would do nicely how big is your JD??? it will be best to get one around the same size or you could get a female but i heard you dont want the babys so i would just go with a nice male GT, let us know what you do..?
 
The JD is about 5-6 inchs and i dont think im gonna be able to find me a GT that size for the life of me, The more i look at those midas/RD's the more i like them. The JD is mean as hell from what ive seen so i dont ill be able to buy a GT thats a baby and hope for it to live not to mention they take a LONG time to grow that would be another problem. Ill keep you guys posted on what i end up stocking it with as well.

Ok so the more i look at it a nice male GT would be nice in there, now its just the problem of trying to find a semi-adult GT. I could always buy one and make a divider in the 55 and then finnally let him onto the other side i was hopeing on picking up a FM and a Convict and putting them in if at all possible. Would i be overstocked with a JD,GT,FM & Convict? If not then thats what im deffinatly going for.

I would feel quite bad for making that be there end, sucked up a tube to there death...why does that sound familiar with human childs.

Anyways about the stocking to much? I think im gonna give the 55 a 10 gallon sump or some type of sump which is in the shape of a tower...hm..maybe ill make the tower inside the 10 gallon or connect a few towers or something, Well id be adding atleast 10 gallons for bio load space not to mention it would be a W/D most likely so i think id be safe for bio but what do you guys think?
