so my problem is i cant seem to find a very big variety of fish that are brackish. so far i have.
1- 3inch silver tip cat(columbian shark)
4- 4inch mono's
3- 4inch green archer fish

any suggestions as to what els i can have in the tank, i would love to have a stone fish , but i dont think thats an opption, any iddeas as to what i could add would be great(no mollys) thnks

How large is your tank? The Columbian shark-cats are a schooling species, so you should get more of those. then you'll have fish that as atults will require a really HUGE tank.
Columbians 18" - 60g ea
Scats - 50g ea
Archer - 50g

the tank is a 55G four feet long. its got lots of rock work on the ground, a few plants. every one gets along, the monos school with each other back and forth all day, and the green archers stay in there own areas except when its feeding time. the tank just looks so empty. thought maybe i could put something els in there

i was thinking of dats, but i was told they arent brackish?. i would like a puffer but the only puffer i realy want is a mbu , so i know that clearly wont work. and a arowana would make me have to upgrade the tank wich isnt an opption at this point...do you know if a stone fish would be ok?

do a couple dragon gobies

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Even one of those needs a tank bigger than 55 gallons. At maturity they usually become very territorial and will fight each other. They may also eat small fish, but I don't think that would really be a problem here.
This has to be the 60th time I've said this.

Let them grow into the tank. Are you prepared for the upgrade the fish you already have will need?
