Some of my favorite fish are catfish so it should come as no suprise to those that know me that I would devote a tank to them. This is my 55g catfish tank, probably the most boring community of fish anyone could put together but I still love them, if I could add more I would. In fact, I might. The nitrates reach 10ppm in a weeks time. Despite this I'll probably keep it the way it is, some of these guys are a bit pushy and places to hide are well guarded. These few fish really fill it up.
Since these guys hide all the time the best time to take their pictures is when I am cleaning the tank. With that in mind please pardon the crap floating in the water, the algae and the water spots.
Male bushynose. There is a female in there as well but all the pics I took of her turned out lousy. She looks the same anyway, just without the growths on her face.
The pimelodid cats. One is a pictus and the other I'm still not 100% sure, probably a white line.
Here you can also see the Asian upsidedown catfish. He really loves that log.
