what cichlids can i put in a 55g with a female green terror? the female GT only grow to 7 inches

i was thinking maybe 2 female convicts?
1 female convict and 1 firemouth?
any ideas?

convicts if you get a male n female in there with her
they will end up shredding her fins if she is big but if she is teh same size they will end up killing her most prob

if she is little get a jack dempsey they go well together
imo my gt n jd are best friends lol ....

Maybe go for a bottom dwelling fish. I think crowding the tank with a few cichlids will result in a fight. You could add a cichlid but a small one, like a convict or firemouth, but I suggest only one. It could even backfire on you, they may even fight your GT and cause harm. But I will bet that any cichlid you add your GT will fight.

if you must add a cichlid go with something small, if the gt isnt too aggressive, maybe rainbow cichlids

If you want some fish for meanwhile you can add a few small ones. But long term it wont work. You will only be able to keep 1 GT as far as cichlids go.

Since your GT is small, you can add a few. But you must remove these fish later there just isnt enough space for them and they will fight/kill each other when they get bigger.

Salvini, Firemouth, any Acaras, Jewel cichlid, Keyhole cichlid, Rainbow cichlid, convict, Kribensis etc.

Any of the above fish are cool. All are smaller cichlids ranging 6 inches and lower in full grown size.

Do you want fish that can go in there for life or just for meanwhile as juvi's?

personally id add a male GT and a couple of pantoscittus
