IN a 55 I would get maybe one convict or possibly two if they are the same sex. Don't get a pair.
MY female GT spends her time a lot chasing my male convict. He makes a good dither for her.
One thing to consider though is that I have seen same sex convicts not really get a long too well so maybe just get one. And I would suggest a male as it will get bigger than a female and be able to put up with her more most likely.
I think a jack dEmspey would be hit or miss as I have tried jack dempsey with my female and she beat her too bad. I had to give the jack dempsey to a friend be for she was clobbered by my saum to death.
